Keep in Touch!

I am a big zero when it comes to keeping in touch with people. Every new year i make this resolution, only not to apply it. But in those rare times when I do make the effort and reach out to my friends from another life, it feels so good. You can almost sense the happiness quotient shooting up on both sides; your old pals are sooo glad that you called and you instantly get transported 5/10/15 years back along with them, recollecting those old times, catching up on where the common friends are, and of course catching up on what’s happening in each other’s lives! And the best thing is that no wonder how big the gap is in terms of time, you almost magically connect back – there is no ‘awkwardness’ (latency is the technical term!); its almost as if you were always in touch all this while. I recently connected back with some old friends which prompted the blog post, hope to improve on that resolution of mine!
